ARTISTIC ANATOMY, BETWEEN REAL AND VIRTUAL: DISCOVER THE NETWORK FOR ARTISTS
THE METROPOLIS ALWAYS MORE HEALTHY CARRIER OF CREATIVITY TO A STEP FROM EXPO 2015

Milano World Arts Map is a new network designed for international artists who live and work in our city: a meeting place of intercultural and multidisciplinary, proactive and digital, involving the participation of cultural workers, Institutions, businesses, citizens and, in anticipation, visitors to Expo 2015 united by the value of interculturalism. In essence it is a platform, accessible to the site www.m-wam.org, that acts as a "map in progress" of artists living in Milan and their atelier, enriched from the places of production and use of multicultural metropolis.

REAL AND VIRTUAL – The Project M-WAM has been designed and created by the cultural CubeArt Ana Pedroso and communication laboratory The Round Table Francesco Moneta: consist in a plan modular, open to the creative contributions and support of institutions, companies and individuals that share its objectives, fact sheets textual, imagery, video, di un proprio canale Facebook, in view of the total fluidity between real and virtual. They are part of the idea an interesting creative contest, but also meetings, events, projects that will feature artists from the network, from the opening of the workshops scheduled during the Expo. Some initiatives are still looking for the support of private and institutional partners, come WAM Atelier, coworking space for international artists who live in the city but do not have their own studio, the WAM Cafè, designed as a place of meeting physical and digital to connect the members of M-WAM in Milan V-WAM, intercultural bridge with Venice in the Biennale of Contemporary Art.

WORLD CITIES – Returning to the artistic contest, free access, is organized into two sections dedicated respectively to young artists under 35 who live and work in Italian and international artists working in Milan. The competition was created in collaboration with the European Commission and sponsored by the Council of Europe, by the Culture of the Municipality and Federculture: has already collected 166 applications and aims to enhance Milan which city creative and productive, a strong European vocation and multicultural, in the year when the world will come to visit us. The intention is to enhance the artists while promoting the languages ​​and forms of expression of the visual arts: for winners, in addition to a cash prize, was organized the exhibition of the same name (in the program Steam Factory up to 6 April) and private participation in Expo 2015 at the World Expo Commissioners Club.
